Los Corales is an upscale neighborhood and a luxurious beach within the town of Bavaro located next to el Cortecito.  Much of the architecture is Mediterranean style with outstanding views of the sea, abundant palm trees, and white powdered crystal sand.  Many Italians have made this enclave their home or vacation get-away. Vacation rentals whether apartments or villas are abundant here and it is one of the most sought after areas in Bavaro or Punta Cana.

This charming corner of the world offers fine dining, spas, beauty centers, excursions, mini-markets, and a short 5-10 walk to the center of town bustling with activities and all kinds of shopping and dining.

Location

Los Corales is located in Bavaro center next to el Cortecito.  It is a 20-minute drive from the Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) using the new highway.

Atmosphere

If you rent or live in Los Corales, you are provided with lounge chairs, a private beach area, and a thatched palm umbrella.  If you are simply visiting the area and want to sunbathe, you can enjoy lounge chairs and amenities at one of the four restaurants on the beach.  Very lively and cool!

Activities

Los Corales is where many excursions launch from Los Corales such as Ocean Adventures. Caribbean Pirate, Spa, Speed Boat, Snuba, Snorkeling, and more! Right next to Huracan Café you will find excursion booths to take you on any adventure you choose!  Fly Boating, Parachute glider, sailing, fishing, swimming, Snuba and sunning, windsurfing, massage, shopping, and more are at your pleasure!

There are excellent restaurants and beach bars in the Los Corales neighborhood:

Huracan Café (Italian) located on the beach with lounge chairs and great food and drinks. Soles Chill Out Bar (international, cool music, young crowd) located on the beach.

Balicana (Thai cuisine) located slightly off the beach set by a beautiful pool D’Angelos Pizza & Pasta (Italian) located slightly off the beach within a tropical garden.
